How do I arrange a consultation?
For your convenience we perform consultations both over the telephone and at the clinic in person. We conduct the majority of our consultations over the telephone; we have accumulated five years of experience with this method and it is very effective. To arrange a telephone consultation email or mail us your contact information and a photograph. The photograph must be a clear depiction of yourself and the area you would like to discuss. We will contact you and arrange a convenient time for your telephone consultation. During the consultation you will have the opportunity to discuss what changes you would like to make to your appearance and will present the different options available to you and explain the risks, limitations and costs of any procedures.
If you wish to have an in person consultation please book a consultation to meet with us at the clinic. Alternatively you can receive an in person consultation the day after we attend one of our many national presentations and conferences. Please check our website frequently to find out when we will be in your area!
What happens when I book an appointment?
We will send you medical forms to fill and return to us either by email or regular mail. If it appears that you have a preexisting medical condition for which a prophylactic regimen of medication is indicated we will ask you to contact your primary care physician for a prescription of his or her recommendation. This instance occurs only in very specific cases.
What happens during my first appointment?
When you arrive at the clinic you will be given some paperwork to complete after which the doctor will take you to a treatment room and review your paperwork and consultation information. The nurse will then take you blood pressure and prep you for treatment including thoroughly cleansing the area to be treated. The doctor may apply a local anesthetic (topical or injectable) if necessary. In exceptional circumstances oral sedation may be given; this must be requested in advance of your visit to the clinic and you must be accompanied by a friend or relative when you come.
What happens after my treatment?
Antibiotics or anti-inflammatories may be prescribed depending on your medical history.
Will I need to stay in a hospital?
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis at Clinic'estetica™'s beautiful modern facilities. It is performed under local anesthesia. As soon as the treatment is over you are free to return to the comfort of your home.
How much pain is there?
There is practically no pain and most people report little to no discomfort at all
What can I expect after surgery?
It is normal to experience some swelling and inflammation after the procedure but this will disappear within 24 -72 hours. Bruising is unusual but does happen with some individuals. We will give you instructions that will minimize risks and help speed your recovery.
What is the recovery period like?
There is absolutely no downtime with Clinic'estetica™'s MicroPlasty™ procedures and you will be able to resume all your normal activities immediately. You should avoid very strenuous activities, such as weightlifting, but these can be resumed in about two weeks
What is the long-term outcome like for most people?
Our MicroPlasty™ procedures have an excellent rate of satisfaction. The results are permanent, your augmentation will be natural to the look and touch and there will be no scar.
